Nail Clipping
Nail Clipping
For general welfare of your dog
Service Description
Keeping your dog’s nails regularly trimmed is really crucial for your dog's health and welfare. Overgrown nails can curl into pads, which causes pain. Long nails are prone to snapping and breaking which can cause your pet a lot of discomfort. Furthermore, consistent long nails left over time can contribute to potential mobility issues such as arthritis and joint problems. How often your dog needs their nails done can vary depending how active they are, where they get walked, breed and weight. Dogs that are more agile, can be light on their feet which can affect how quickly their nails grow. The frequency of your dog's nail trims depends on several factors, including their activity level, the surfaces they walk on, their breed, and their weight. For instance, more agile dogs might be lighter on their feet, which can influence the speed at which their nails grow. We recommend getting your dog’s nails trimmed every 4-8 weeks depending on their breed, weight and lifestyle however some dogs may never need their nails trimmed. This service can be offered while you wait. Two groomers will assist in this service to ensure your dog is relaxed and calm.
